Republicans believe that wealth should be rewarded with
more money from our pockets. We believe that work should
be rewarded. Republicans are always talking about the “job
creators,” while we know that the people who do the work
are the real job creators. Republicans say that making the
rich pay their fair share is "class warfare." They certainly
know about class warfare... they've been at it for 30 years.
"Illinois Progressive Agenda PAC was created
to promote the fact that Democrats are better for our wallets
and the middle class overall."
This message will be broadcast before the 2012 election
in northeastern Illinois with media buys targeted towards
independent voters who don't always vote. It is those independent
voters who will greatly impact the outcomes of elections.

Richard Trumpka, AFL-CIO president, said recently that "Powerful
political forces are seeking to silence working people —
to drive us out of the national conversation." Illinois
Progressive Agenda aims to convince people that it is in
their best interest to vote for good Democrats.
When Democrats talk about economic values, Democrats win.
People want government that fosters prosperity for all and
rewards hard work. When the message is clear and hits voters
emotionally, independent voters are responsive and vote
accordingly.
